Kia ora, my name is Jillaine Murray, and I create under my maker name, The Black Pixie.  I am a New Zealand artist based in Whanganui and all of my art, craft, fanciful creatures and items of whimsy are designed and handmade from scratch.  In most cases the goodies are produced almost entirely from recycled materials or by repurposing something old or interesting that I've found at the op shop. Straight lines and perfect things give me a nose bleed...beautiful things are crooked, slightly frayed, rusty, off beat or a bit wonky.

You can purchase from this site in a couple of ways. Firstly, the "shop" page has a list of things I make to order. Simply click on the link provided on each item to email me your order, I will be in touch shortly after to sort out preference, payment, shipping etc.  The second option is to check out the "In Stock" page for items made and ready to go right now.  Same deal applies, click on the link, and I will be in touch to sort out payment and shipping.
